Sweet little small-format Neotek. 2 Series 1 channels and 2 of the 1E. I also have a 16 channel, 8 bus of the same exact console in case you need moar channels.
Scott Liebers in MN helped me bring this back to life and then I spent many hours cleaning up the modules and wiring up the I/O panels. As of now, ALMOST every function works. The two center modules are a broadcast/remote trigger module whose functions aren’t present on the motherboard - they take a molex which I assume interfaced with an external unit upon install at a theatre or broadcast facility. These modules can be replaced with input strips and will work fine, and the rear connections are in place to literally plug 2 modules in and go.
Anyway, this thing works great and a lot of little annoying issues have already been rectified.
Current issues include:
- Foldback and Echo Level pots can still be finicky at times and drop out. A couple twists and you’re set to go.
- Echo B solo only works when Echo A is also soloed. Never interfered with my workflow.
Many switches have been replaced, chips swapped out etc.
Despite its age, this desk is relatively clean and quiet and I’ve enjoyed having it. Perfect front end for drums or keyboards or even a little sub mixer to run a hybrid setup.
The rear panel with the odd numbers is just a donor from a larger format Neotek that I repurposed. The inputs and extraneous connections are all connected for each of the 6 input slots.
Willing to drive and meet the right buyer.
Shoot me a message with any questions.
