Toca Freestyle II Mechanically Tuned Djembe – Durable All-Weather Hand Drum

The Toca Freestyle II Mechanically Tuned Djembe delivers reliable performance for drummers who play in any condition. Built with a lightweight yet durable PVC shell and topped with an all-weather synthetic head, this 12" djembe resists the elements without compromising tone or pitch stability. The synthetic head eliminates the stretching, drying, and pitch loss associated with traditional skin heads, making it ideal for outdoor drum circles, festivals, and consistent rehearsals. Mechanically tuned for quick adjustments, the Freestyle II responds to a simple turn of the included tuning wrench—no special tools or expertise required. The drum produces punchy, crisp slaps paired with rich, resonant bass tones, giving you the full tonal range needed for traditional and contemporary djembe playing. A protective nonslip rubber bottom keeps the drum stable and secure during play.
