Extremely rare. Haven’t seen one of these in years. Original owner. Bought this brand new when they first came out. 

Unit functions, all buttons work. To be 100% upfront here is what I’ve experienced. 

I have not used this for basically its whole existence, maybe a few times when I purchased it. As you can see from the buttons, it’s almost spotless, a few letters faded a bit, but that’s about it. 

After going through a bunch of old gear I’ve decided to sell it, testing it a few months back the input and output were very finicky. 

I bought another regular 9002 to replace the input and output 1/4” jacks, it’s better but still a little finicky. I searched the internet to buy these new, I had no luck finding them, there is a company called DigiKey, I bought what I thought were the correct part but after receiving them, they were not. So I’m sure someone has the right part, I just don’t want to spend the time to look for it. 3rd photo is the original output jack. I will include the originals with your purchase, 4th photo. 

So I used the input and output from the other 9002 unit I purchased and like i mentioned, it’s still a little finicky, however when you wiggle the output just a little it works, full signal! 

So unit is being sold as is, in working order, but not perfect working order. I think if you found “NEW” output jack it would be perfect as everything else functions without issue. All the buttons work, not bad for being unused for a couple of decades. 

There is a service out there that fixes these for around $100, I would rather sell it and put the money towards a guitar.

Battery is included in the unit, battery cover tab broke off as it usually does on these units, hence the tape. Comes with after market ac adapter (that is the company that repairs these), also comes with pictured remote. Video link below.
