An interesting and quirky little percussion instrument. Giving traditional bongos a wooden faceplate makeover. Surprisingly resonant given its size. The snare throw on the “higher” side is a nice touch as well.
There’s quite a few scuffs and nicks in the black pant on the exterior. This particular one was a demo model that got shipped around quite a bit.
Fun fact, if you’ve seen any of the short demo reels on Instagram of this Cajon, it’s likely this exact one (as well as my own hands playing it!) See the attached video.
