Vintage 1968 Fender Jaguar Neck in very rare factory original Lake Placid Blue

This is an incredibly fine example of Fender's "transition" era - 1967 and 1968 were the two years where Fender was still doing things in line with Pre-CBS production, just before CBS would start making major changes to all elements of production in 1969 and 1970. This neck is from a rare era known as the "bound with blocks" where Jazzmaster and Jaguars had some fancy appointments.

This neck is 100% factory original with no refinish or overspray. The original Lake Placid Blue finish is stunning with some amazing finish checking. The finish on this neck blacklights perfectly.

This neck is dated 15 AUG 68 B (15= Jaguar code, August 1968 production, and a "B" nut width)

A very cool detail on this is the factory original "LP Blue" written on the back of the neck butt at the time of production to denote which color was designated for this neck!

It includes it's original tuners, never removed and in perfect working order. Original Nut and String Tree. The original logo is 100% fully in-tact and has aged to perfection. Original frets in fine shape and will still play with some life left in them.
