Up for sale is my extremely rare and very high quality 2010's Atelier Z Baby Z PJ4 Mustang Bass made and imported from Japanlast year. These were made in extremely small numbers in Atelier Z's Japanese workshop (not the newer Chinese models) and are the best, highest quality short scale Mustang basses you can get. I LOVE Mustang basses and have been on the hunt for the coolest / highest quality variant and this is it. I'm only selling because I have a second one with a more flamboyant paint job. The bass has a few dings on the body and one on the neck but is in overall nice shape.

Seriously- these make Fender Mustang Basses feel like toys. 100% custom shop quality in the most fun package you can have with 4 strings. Bass is in very nice shape with a nice sun tan going on and comes with the original padded gig bag and some Japanese paperwork. Blurb from manufacture below:

This time, we're introducing the popular "BabyZ" model with a short scale.

While the standard pickup layout is a JJ single-coil layout like the Jazz Bass, this model uses a PJ pickup, allowing you to control the tone character from a fat, mild sound like a Mustang bass to a sharp, crisp, and edgy sound.

While the BabyZ series is based on ash bodies, this particular model's alder body and rosewood fingerboard produce a tight, firm midrange output, giving it a rich, full-bodied feel even when playing with two fingers.

The 30-inch short scale and closely spaced frets make this guitar a great choice for guitarists switching to bass. It also allows those with smaller hands to easily play technical phrases without exerting excessive force. The neck is reinforced with a KTS titanium bar, ensuring sufficient neck strength to withstand the tension of high-tension bass strings. Its construction is also resistant to neck warping, ensuring long-term durability.

This guitar is made in Japan with excellent craftsmanship, and boasts exceptional playability and sound quality.
