This stunning 1977 MIJ Washburn Falcon electric solid body guitar has a bound carved maple top and a Maple finish. The Falcon is one of the Wing series Washburn electric guitars, and it is one of the finest electric guitars Washburn has ever made. This guitar is a first-generation Washburn Falcon guitar made in the legendary Yamaki Japanese guitar factory.
This guitar has great sustain, presence, action, feel, and tonal variety. The finish shows off the through-body five-piece maple and rosewood neck. The maple top has bird’s eye accents visible. It also has a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
I love the sound of through-neck guitars and basses, but I also like to be able to see the beauty of a masterfully hand-crafted neck that the paint jobs can obscure. The coil-tap switches are mods. This guitar is in Good condition, with some cosmetic chips and scratches shown in the pictures. It also appears that the tuners, knobs and PUs were all upgraded. Comes with a hard shell case.
