This is the latest signature model from Mitsuru Sutoh, one of Moon’s most iconic bassists — and it's just landed! This time around, the new version goes with a passive PJ pickup configuration, keeping things simple and classic.

It features a traditional setup with a 2-piece alder body, maple neck, and Honduras rosewood fingerboard. It’s built on a 34-inch scale, giving you a nice, balanced feel that’s easy to handle. While many passive Moon models use lacquer finishes, this one switches it up with a poly-coated body and a satin-finished neck, offering a different kind of sleek playability.

For pickups, it’s loaded with Moon’s go-to: the U.S.A Kuwabara PJ set. Known for their fat, punchy mids, Kuwabara pickups shine here too — delivering dynamic, super usable tones that fit all kinds of playing styles.

And of course, you’ll find Sutoh’s signature finger rest mounted closer to the bridge pickup, sitting just under the Low B string. This thoughtful placement helps prevent accidental string hits and makes fast, clean playing feel effortless.
