In the spirit of up-cycling, I am taking lightly used guitar effects and transforming them into one-of-a-kind visual pieces.

This Little Big Muff Pi was purchased new for use in a YouTube video. It has seen less than 2 hours of use. It was carefully disassembled, stripped of the original art and repainted. The artwork was signed and dated before a protective clear coat was applied. The pedal has been thoroughly tested after reassembly (I also build guitar pedals) and it functions as it should.

The original box, the paperwork, and the unused EHX 9V battery are included.

Who am I?

Hi, I’m Jeff Starr. You might have seen my YouTube videos (NotBadFilms) where I review guitar gear and interview artists who have changed the music landscape. This pedal was used in a video comparing different types of Big Muff Pi circuits.

The Little Big Muff is my favorite of the Big Muff Pedals. It sounds nearly identical to the big box version and its SMD construction produces a much quieter circuit. Additionally, it has a robust metal enclosure.

My visual artwork has been featured in galleries and touring exhibitions. A few years ago I decided that I wanted to merge the art I was doing with my passion for guitar.

I'm calling this series of up-cycled pedals, "Sonic Canvases." Each painting is unique and will never be recreated. I have included a video showing another Sonic Canvas I have for sale.

You will be able to see the texture of the paint and other happy accidents that showcase its organic creation. Each pedal is signed, dated and given a clear coat to help preserve the artwork.

The pedal ships with its original box, battery and packaging materials. I have attached a sticker with my logo to the bottom. The internal circuit is a stock Little Big Muff by EHX.
