Up for sale is a beautiful Fender Japan ’62 Reissue Telecaster (model TL62B) finished in the classic Lake Placid Blue with cream double binding. This guitar was built in 2016, as confirmed by the JD16 serial number, and represents the craftsmanship and vintage-inspired detail that Fender Japan is known for.
Overall in very good condition with light cosmetic wear from normal play. There are some minor surface marks and small edge wear (see photos), but nothing that affects playability. The frets show minimal wear, neck is straight, and electronics function properly.
The guitar features an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, offering a classic vintage feel with a 7.25" radius and 21 frets. It’s equipped with Fender Japan vintage-style Telecaster single-coil pickups and a traditional 3-saddle bridge with threaded saddles, all topped off with a 3-ply mint/cream pickguard. Built in Japan in 2016 (JD16 serial).
It comes is a soft case.
