Vintage 1998 Gretsch Tennessee Rose G6119-1962FT Walnut w/ FilterTron Pickups, Bigsby & Case Very Dark Stain Near Black!

Up for sale, a 1998 Gretsch G6119-1962FT Tennessee Rose in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case.  Best known for its regular use by George Harrison throughout the Beatles' career, the Tennessee Rose is a reissue of the enduringly popular Tennessean and features a thinline hollow maple body, simulated F holes, a dark Walnut Stain finish, and a pair of Filter’Tron humbuckers (hence the “FT” designation).

As Gretsch's most enduringly popular pickup, these Filter'Trons offer a punchy, sparkling bridge position sound that has plenty of muscle and breadth. The neck pickup is fat and smooth, with a distinctive thickness and bark. This Gretsch weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
