This Candy Apple Red ElectraJet from Colorado builder Don Grosh is a straight-ahead, rock machine serving up warm, vintage sounds with some serious definition and bite. While donning an eye-popping candy apple red finish, the vintage looks come through with aged hardware and a satin-finished neck that plays fast with a medium roundback profile and 1 5/8" nut width.
The short scale 24 3/4" scale length feels great in the hands and allows for easy playing and bends. Grosh's custom pickups, a G90 neck pickup and a 327 bridge pickup, offer a perfect level of output to push a tube amp into a wooly growl while retaining an astonishing amount of pick definition in its tones. Roll them back for cleans that have a pleasing amount of midrange and highs that never come off as harsh. Comes with a custom-fit hardshell case and a free Mass Street setup.
