Hi, here is custom-made
Vintage Sound Amps Retro 35
Housed in an oversized Pine Cabinet made by the late Mather Cabs!
The combo itself is not heavy, albeit a little cumbersome based on its size.
It’s almost as big as a Super Reverb, but less than 1/2 the weight!
50lbs on my very full of lies bathroom scale. That said it’s still quite heavy and cumbersome due to its size. Still it’s worth it!!!
The amp is the perfect height for sitting on if you felt, also plenty of room to place pint of liquid courage on top.
It’s a single channel all tube combo amp, handwired by the master, Rick Hayes!!!
The Retro 35 is his own custom creation that I ordered circa 2011.

Speakers are quite special, you have a 12” Ceramic, and you have a 10” AlNico!!!

The power of this combo amp is more in line with a fender vibroverb, the quintessential stage amp!
So you get big warm clean tones that drive at a lower volume but with enough power on tap to be heard and command a presence on larger stages with multiple instruments. You don’t need effects pedals, maybe an RC Booster, but it’s yo thang!
The amp circuitry is based on a Princeton Reverb, with larger transformers etc for more power.
It sounds great at all volumes, including quiet!
