I have a 2020 Paul Reed Smith S2 Standard 24 here. With a new (unsure of the brand) high quality tweed hardshell case. Note that this is a the full high gloss model, not the cheaper satin finished one.

This PRS is in VG condition with some typical playwear that I will describe for you.

The body top shows guitar pick strumming on the plastic pickguard. And I found a few surface indentations shallow ones that do not break the finish there's about two or three small dot size ones and one line shaped one about a centimeter in size. But then and tiny barely noticeable. I did not find any notable or significant marks on the body top nor any buildup of swirling or playwear.

The body sides/edges look pretty good I did not find dings or bumps or anything of that nature the upper horn edge shows a little bit of texturing to the finish from body sweat interacting with the gloss finish. That makes the shiny gloss finish a little dulled. But not covered in scratches or playwear.

The body back lower area near the lower body edge. Has about a 2 inch squared section of surface worming. Not heavily clustered but some line shaped indentation type swirl marks. There are about three more small surface round indentations here and there scattered. The upper horn area like I mentioned in the body side/edges area shows a little bit of texturing to the finish this commonly occurs in an area where sweat interacts with the gloss finish and creates a slightly dulled appearance.

The neck shaft and contour look pretty much excellent throughout I did not find anything describable in terms of marks or play where there it looks very clean. There is light fretwear on a few of the frets nothing sinking deep into the meat of the fret. More so the very beginning of fretwear just a little bit of level usage on a few of the lower frets mostly in that area. It's nothing that would affect playability and overall the frets are still tall and meaty.

The setup and playability plays immaculate. The electronics are stock and working as they should.
This one rates and 8.3/10 and grades as very good. It has what I would summarize as average surface playwear. But nothing horrible or singularly bad or any signs of abuse. It still has the attractive look of a modern era guitar and structurally in sonically it is sound and plays outstanding. It looks and plays great.

This is a great all arounder do everything guitar. The S2 line tonally is not a huge departure from the "Core" line in my opinion. Arguably it is the best bracket for performance to price in comparison to the SE and Core lines.

Note that this model has a thick mahogany body and neck topped with a rosewood fretboard. This tonewood combo has detail and complexity and strong midrange presence and an almost three dimensional sound stage.

Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
