Up for sale is the Ed King 1954 Stratocaster. This is a museum quality, 100% first year Strat with full provenance from Ed King's personal collection. Some highlights: Flamed Neck, Featherweight at 6lbs, 14oz!, plus an immaculate center pocket tweed case. It comes with the original sales receipt from the 1950's, a personal letter from Ed King, certificate of authenticity from Walter Carter, PLUS a VIDEO of Ed discussing his ownership and playing this historic instrument. This guitar was also featured in a 2022 vintage guitar calendar.

I bought this from Ed, before his passing, via Christie at Carter Vintage in 2017. Ed King was a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd and co-writer of "Sweet Home Alabama". The entire package is priceless.
