Vintage Gibson (Lifton) Les Paul 5 Latch Case Brown with Pink Interior 1950's

This listing is for a Vintage late 1950's Gibson (Lifton) 5 Latch Les Paul Electric Guitar Case. This case is from the 1950's and originally for a Les Paul Standard (Burst) or a Les Paul TV Special or Junior Electric Guitar made between approximately 1954 and 1960. The case is functional but in very rough condition and has been repaired and taped up. 

The case is a 5 latch case and all the latches are intact and functional although they do show quite heavy wear. The handle is also original and functional. The exterior of the case shows extremely heavy wear with lots of nicks, dings and heavy scratches. There is a lot of brown tape applied to the edges and back and sides, see pics. 

The interior of the case shows some wear but is in overall good condition and in much better condition than the exterior.  The neck rest and pocket are all intact and the case has the original Lifton case badge.

Despite the heavy wear this is a rare and valuable case. Having an original case add significant value to a 1950's Les Paul guitar.
