Here we have perhaps the most exquisite and uniquely rare 74 Custom- yes, the legendary Randy Rhoads Crazy Train guitar. We're all aware that there are custom shop repros and anniversary homages etc out there that are fantastic. However they will only ever be reproductions, and the basis of what makes them cool is due largely in trying to emulate the mojo and honest, hard earned wear that makes this particular guitar peerless and stand alone. This is not 1 of 200; it is uniquely 1 of 1. Take a close look at the bridge pickup cover that's been worn through the metal cover with a soft celluloid pick. How often have you seen that? How much playing does it take to achieve that feat? It will likely be the only one you will ever see.

Notably, this guitar was played and gone through by my good friend, rock legend (Jetboy / Buckcherry) and master builder Billy Rowe of Rock N Roll Relics, and his team of top shelf luthiers/ wizards. It has had a full refret with jumbo frets that have been fastidiously leveled, crowned and polished to perfection, and similarly set up to play at a pro, modern level and without compromise. Yes, it's had the requisite neck repair. The intention was to make it the ultimate, real deal professional road player- replete with its inimitable and incredible aesthetic. Further, the fine folks at Seymour Duncan were wowed by the unique pickup and the consensus amongst many being that it was perhaps the coolest 74 Custom they'd ever seen.

Comes in a very clean 80's Gibson USA case, which are starting to become collectible themselves. The vintage and also very rare Ozzy concert poster is included.

Not only are real deal 74 Customs hard to come by, it's unlikely you'll find one that has this unique and perhaps ultimate combination of historic mojo and modern, sublime playability.

The high shipping cost reflects the insurance cost for a high value item and making sure it is packed appropriately. In the event that the shipping is less, I can refund any difference accordingly, as I don't believe shipping should be marked up.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for your kind consideration!
