Early 60's Slingerland Super Gene Krupa 5.5 x14 Radio King Snare Drum

• Overall this drum is in excellent original condition.
• All original including the hardware & stamped calf batter and clear snare side heads!

• The solid maple shell is structurally sound, free of extra holes, and takes heads nicely.

• Finish is exceptionally clean & vibrant. The photos do not do it justice.
• Wrap is holding well and flat at the seam, free of pulling or splits.

• Features chrome over brass hoops in great shape. Original clamshell strainer adjusts properly on both ends and stays engaged while playing.

• Chrome is very clean around the drum. Some of the lugs show gently speckled pitting. Some scratches & scuffs on the strainer and rims.

• Fitted with brand new Canopus Radio King Clamshell snare wires. We have the original wires but only a few wires remain.

• Batter head has a very small hole and reso a 1/4" tear.

• Single ply maple shell is clean with original bearing edges. Edges take modern heads nicely. Edges are typical of this era with a bit of excess glue/wood filler.
• Complete and ready to go.
