This is a 1998 Epiphone Casino in Natural finish made in Korea at the Peerless factory. You can read in more detail online why these particular Casino reissues are so sought after and lauded but in my personal opinion they are the closest tone-wise and feel-wise you can get to an original 60's Casino. The pickups and fret work are fantastic even at 27 years but the finish is where the craftsmanship of the Peerless factory really stands out. Somehow they were able to avoid the "plastic" feel of the other Epiphone Casino reissues, you can really feel the natural wood on these guitars!

This guitar has been modified with both a Bigsby and some aftermarket locking Klusons to get a nice vintage look. The original tuners and bridge are included along with a fantastic Epiphone OHSC. As an added bonus at one point two palm benders were put on this guitar. I had them removed but they are also included. The pickguard was removed prior to my ownership and is not included. John Lennon took the pickguard off his Casino too so why do you need one?

This was the first and only hollowbody guitar I ever bought and while it does feel and sound great I've realized that I'm more happy playing a solidbody.
