Hello! You are looking at a Yamaha EM-90 Ensemble Mixer. This groundbreaking mixer/beatbox/spring reverb series was used by Mtume to astonishing effect when he played with Miles Davis on the live Agharta, Pangea and Dark Magus recordings. Mtume put it through his Mu-tron Bi-Phase and controlled it with a volume pedal, using the beatbox more for texture than rhythm. What makes this module so unique is the built-in drum machine with March, Waltz, Swing, Slow Rock, Jazz Rock, Rhumba, Bosanova, Tango + Tempo presets.
This unit is 100% functional and ready to play! It shows signs of age and use cosmetically, but no major or functionality-altering imperfections are present. Please see photos for a well-rounded look at the item's condition.
