This Fender Custom Shop American Custom Stratocaster NOS is in EXCELLENT overall condition. Cosmetically, it is very clean, only showing some very light play wear. This is a used instrument, so it may have minor finish scratching and minor playwear. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. All used models receive a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.

Transcending classic design elements with eye-catching appeal, the American Custom Stratocaster draws the most discerning players as the embodiment of elegance and perfectly alluring playability. An NOS lacquer finish lets the two-piece select ash body breath and resonate with each note. Its roasted 2A birdseye maple neck has a ’60-style “oval C” profile, compound-radius (9.5”-12”) round-lam rosewood fingerboard, and 22 narrow tall (6105) frets for exceptional play in all registers.

Custom Shop hand-wound ’64 pickups (with reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup) are connected to a five-way switch and vintage modified #2 wiring with tone-saver bleed, which features a master volume, tone #1 (neck and middle pickups), and tone #2 (bridge) with treble bleed (for keeping mids and rolling off highs without adding bass). Other features include a three-ply mint green pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, Sperzel® die-cast tuning machines with white pearloid buttons, bone nut and American Standard string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
