2000 Lowden O23 with LR Baggs Pickup system.

Up for sale is my 2000 Lowden O23, equipped with an LR Baggs pickup system. This beautiful instrument features a Red Cedar top paired with a North American black walnut back and sides. The result is a guitar with a rich, warm but very clear bass response and lush harmonic overtones. Plus an excellent sustain from that Cedar top.

This is not one of Lowden’s entry-level models - it represents their mid-to-high tier craftsmanship, built with carefully selected, high-quality tonewoods. The Californian Walnut and beautiful Red Cedar top makes it an inspiring guitar to play. Every time I play this guitar it feels like cathedral bells and chimes resonating. Very similar to a beautiful piano, big and rich sound.

I purchased this guitar brand new in 2001 at a guitar show in Minnesota and have owned it ever since. It has been meticulously cared for, always kept in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment, stored in its case with a humidifier when not in use.

Playability is outstanding—the action is comfortably low, the neck is exceptionally comfy "C" shape. although guitar has a large body size, it feels surprisingly manageable, almost like holding a medium-sized guitar.
