$1149.99 1980 Dobro Model 27 Square Neck Resonator, Sunburst

*Listing Edit*

We had initially thought this resonator to have been produced in 1970. But, through further research, we determined it to have been built in 1980 by the OMI company. The serial number reads 81093 0D (see pic). Based on that serial number scheme, 8 would denote the decade, 1093 would be "ranking" (batch) numbers, 0 for the year within the decade and D to denote a wooden body. Apologies for any confusion to anyone watching this listing. We never claim to know everything and always try to learn something new everyday. Despite these listing changes, the details below remain the same

Excellent Condition on this old square neck. Mild play wear is evident in the form of minor dings/dents and some tarnish/wear on some of it's chrome bits. No breaks, no repairs. It's voice is loud and clear with no rattle or dead sounding open notes. The tuners all work as they should. This is a great playing, great sounding guitar. Sale includes the guitar, original hardshell case, a leather strap, some finger pics and a tone bar. Weight is 6lbs. Additional pics and info are always available upon request.
