Hi, thanks for taking the time to check out this bass. It is quite rare; in the years I have owned it, I have never seen another example featuring this dark rosewood fretboard paired with a matching headstock. Given that this instrument was produced during Fender’s transition period between rosewood suppliers, it is exceptionally rare to find one equipped with a dark rosewood board."

This bass was in such pristine, untouched condition when I purchased it that I have deliberately left the dust undisturbed to preserve its originality. It appears that no screws have ever been turned or adjusted since it left the factory. The instrument is 100% original and still features the vintage flat-wound strings that were installed when I acquired it.

I bought this bass in North Carolina from the daughter of the original owner. After her father passed away, she began selling his possessions. She lived in the same house with her father and cared for him during his final years. They practiced in a family gospel band at home where she served as the singer. This bass appears to have been maintained with the utmost care and shows very minimal wear.

This bass is in excellent working order. The tuners are perfectly straight, avoiding the common bending issues often found in instruments of this era. There is one small ding on the back of the bass in the middle of the body centered under the neck plate.

This bass is very nice and rare. Please message me with any questions or request for additional info pictures ect..

This will make an incredible addition to anyone's collection. I personally really like colors and logo and dark rosewood with lollipop tuners it's just all really cohesive and amazing looking.

- Enjoy
