• A "Powered by Kontakt" library: V-METAL is not a standalone application but a sample library that requires a Kontakt player to function. It is a "Powered by Kontakt" library, which means it includes a license for the free Kontakt Player, so you don't need to purchase the full version of Kontakt to use it.
• Host requirements: V-METAL requires Kontakt 5 or newer (or the corresponding free Kontakt Player) to host its instrument files. You can download the latest Kontakt Player for free through Native Access, Native Instruments' download manager.
