1988 Fender American Vintage 62" Jazz Bass in excellent condition and perfect working order, complete with hard case (with broken latches). One of the famous "Fullerton" reissues produced between 1982 and 1988, this bass was one of the very first vintage reissues offered by Fender, crafted on the same machines at the Fullerton, California, factory that carved the pre-CBS originals. When Fender changed ownership and production moved to the new Corona factory for the 1985 and later models, new models were made, as the originals were not purchased when the company changed hands, thus increasing the rarity and vintage fidelity of the instruments from the Fullerton factory.
