The Gruhn Appraisal documents Vai's Signature and the LG Number, which means no worries if the number or Signature completely fade. You will always have proof.

It was played routinely by original owner. The neck is nicely worn, the back has buckle rash, there is a small line indent at the locking nut back of headstock, signature and issue number are vaguely present, headstock and body have numerous dents, swirls, dings and imperfections, so see pictures and ask for clarification before purchase. No excuse, once purchased for not asking and clarifying anything said or concerned with. I rarely played it over the 7yrs I have owned. Case is good, fully functional and the combo lock works. Guitar and case have corrosion and dirt as can be seen by pics.

All original, nothing modified. Has Whammy Bar. Does not have Palm Bridge Cover. It is #173 of 777. The Signature and Steve Vai drawing are faint, and the number 173 can not be captured by pictures, but can be vaguely seen, but takes a bit of attention to make it out.

I do not know who the previous owner was.
