Very Rare RCA SP-20 (Chassis RS-147) Tube Power Amp – All Original, Complete, Variac Tested, Service Option Available
These rarely surface, especially complete with tubes and transformers tested good.
This is a very rare vintage RCA SP-20 mono power amplifier (chassis RS-147), fully stock and complete. It was pulled from a working system and has not been modified or altered.
- 🔧 100% original RCA build, untouched electronics
- 🔥 Quad 6V6 output section (push-pull parallel, ~20 watts)
- 📻 Designed for use with external RCA preamps (SP-10, SP-25, etc.)
- 🛡️ All original transformers and tubes tested good — strong iron and healthy glass already in place
- 🕰️ Briefly variac tested: powers on smoothly with no smoke or obvious issues. Still sold as-is due to age (original capacitors, possible out-of-spec resistors).
This unit is being sold as-is, complete and original, ideal for collectors or restorers.
