Here is a guitar that is as cool as they come. Talk about MOJO, this thing will have heads turning everywhere it goes. It is an attention grabber for sure and really does sound as good as it looks. Just in time to make your splash this summer, we offer this super sweet Fender '73 Mustang reissue in a killer Orange Capri finish and crazy cool racing stripes that is sweeter than a basket full of jellybeans. These guitars really need no introduction, and this little buckaroo is fiesty and raring to get out of the stable and into some loving arms. Fender introduced the Mustang as a starter guitar back in the day, however it became an instant hit among players and pros who immediately picked up on what a jangly and well playing workhorse the 'Stang was. These guitars really have garnered a fanatical, cult following over the ensuing decades. The Mustang's short scale, simple yet versatile electronics, and decidedly chameleonic ability to sound great in a multitude of settings regardless of style make it a perennial favorite. Whether it's rock, punk, emo, shoegaze, or even country and jazz the Mustang is up to the task with a tuneful projection and versatility. It has a classic slim C profile neck and a set of well balanced and warm single coil pickups that deliver plenty of spank/chime while maintaining the ability to be driven hard and pushed when desired offering plenty of punch from. This guitar is suitable and able to nail any genre of music and is extremely hard to put down because she is so fun to play. This '73 reissue is in top form with great playability, an awesome and comfortably balanced feel. It is light weight and easy to play and will make you want to keep rocking all night. This particular model/color combo is not only rare but sought after and highly desirable. Cosmetically is is in very nice condition with some natural play wear that includes a couple of small dings and scuffs. (see pics) It is ready to steal the spotlight and is a gigging and or recording worthy tone monster.

The 2010 Fender MG-73 Mustang is a vintage-style reissue model produced exclusively for the Japanese market, and is not a US production model. Its specs follow the design of the original 1973 Mustang, including the iconic competition stripe finish and matching headstock. These guitars were made in Japan (MIJ) and are known for their high-quality craftsmanship.

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy

We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:

- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.

- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.

A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.

We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.

Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.

We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
