Gibson RB-180 with a closed back/resonator, long neck banjo made in USA in the 1960s.
The banjo is in playable shape but could use a setup and head change. It is also missing one of the bolts for the top and a strap pin on the bottom. I believe the tuners were changed at some point as there are extra holes in the back of the headstock. It looks like the nitro finish clumped/gunked up just around the area that the headstock and neck meet in the back. I do not see any cracks in the neck. The backside of the body has clumps and I’m not sure if it is glue or clear coat. It has wear from use, please see pictures for condition.
I ship to the lower 48 states only. I pack well but I purchase shipping insurance in case anything happens during shipment.
