Tired of the stock roller knobs on your Jazzmaster? Don’t use them? I designed a custom adapter plate that swaps the rhythm circuit rollers for standard 2-position slide switches. Inspired by the modding culture around Cobain-style Jags and Mustangs, this upgrade keeps the original look while giving you way more wiring flexibility and versatility.

What’s Included:

  • 3 × Genuine Switchcraft DPDT slide switches (Part #11A-1534)
  • 1 × Double switch adapter plate (replaces rhythm circuit roller bracket)
  • 1 × Single switch adapter plate (keeps switch height uniform)
  • Zinc-coated mounting screws, nuts, and washers for secure mounting

Notes:

  • Fits standard Jazzmaster pickguards (not included).
  • Custom 3D-printed part, designed in-house to mount directly into Jazzmaster roller bracket holes.
  • Depending on your Jazzmaster model, a slight upper-cavity route may be required for clearance.
  • Kit is not wired — you’re free to configure the switches however you like.

Popular wiring options include:

  • Coil splitting for humbuckers
  • Phase reversal
  • Series/parallel switching
  • Bass cut / treble bleed
  • Kill switch or pickup on/off

The possibilities are endless — this is a simple drop-in mod that makes your Jazzmaster way more versatile.
