Add top quality analog cassette recording to your set-up. Three Head means this deck offers the capability to listen to the playback of recordings as they are being made and this is the best way to make recordings, as corrections can be applied on the fly. This deck is from the late 90's when technology had ripened, offering all features needed to make outstanding recordings. This deck offers adjustable Bias and has 2 recording level adjustments: a main level adjustment and a fine adjustment, plus level balance. Together with a 3 motor transport and the closed loop dual capstan tape run in stabilized to yield optimal results. this deck also features a real time counter with memory function, a head phone output with a separate head-phone volume control plus Dobly B+C with HX PRO. There is also a head-Phone jack at the deck to allow monitoring while recording. Side features are: AMS (Automatic Music Search), A motor loaded cassette door, a display mode switch that allows to reduce the information on the display and a separate CD input. Lot: SONY TC-K670 3 Head Cassette Deck

Condition: Good overall good physical condition with typical / average sings of use and age. There are heavy scratches on the top cover and a heavy scratch at the left side of the cassette door, thus this deck designated to be in "fair" condition. The face plate has a couple of dings (see photos) There are: scratches, dulling, small blemishes. The heads are in good condition with little wear. Deck refurbished performs flawlessly as it should.

Work Performed to refurbish this deck: replaced all drive belts (rubber parts), performed cleaning and lube work, treated controls and switches with contact cleaner, re-soldered aged solder points, cleaned and de-magnetized all items in the tape path, performed detailed alignment and calibrations - full functional test - OK - performs as it should. I have been professionally restoring vintage audio and music equipment since the early 1980's and will be glad to bring out lasting top performance in this deck - or in any vintage audio / music item that you have.
