For sale: vintage Olds Ambassador tenor trombone, Serial #261777 (late-1950s). This horn is a solid working instrument — the outer slide and tuning slide both move freely and play normally. Finish is largely worn (most lacquer worn off) and the bell has several large dents plus a few small dents elsewhere (see photos). Included: hard case (fair condition), cleaning cloth, brush kit, and a Conn 12C mouthpiece.
Player notes: Slide action is smooth and the horn responds well; suitable for a student/enthusiast or as a parts/restore project for a collector. No cracks or split braces observed. Servicing recommended if you want to remove dents or refinish the bell — functionality is unaffected by the cosmetic damage.
