Yamaha D-80 Organ Synthesizer GX1 D80

This Yamaha D80 organ/synthesizer is a rare gem! Combining elements of the legendary CS80 synth and the super rare GX-1 (Keith Emerson, John Paul Jones) you get some pretty amazing analog sounds for tens of thousands less! it’s all about the little keyboard in the top right. That is a super fat monophonic analog synth and the keyboard has the rare side to side vibrato from the GX-1! The filter and other analog elements are from Yamaha’s CS-80 era synths like the SY-2 and sounds incredible.

The bottom two manuals and bass pedals are more of your standard vintage Yamaha organ sounds and features. Nice and fun to have, but, what makes this rare and valuable really is the synth lead section. That side to side vibrato and filter modulation is really expressive. I can do a video demonstration if requested. I’ll do one anyway for myself because I’m going to miss this beautiful instrument. local pick up only unless you want to arrange a piano mover or freight company. It’s big and heavy. The unit is sold as is with no returns. It’s working as it should and sounds fantastic!
