This is a made in Japan Valley Arts Michael McGuire "M" Series neck likely from the late 1990s.
This neck does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches and small scuffs along the back of the neck and headstock. The frets have normal play wear. The frets have been checked with a fret rocker and they appear to still be level along the entire fretboard.
