1982 Gibson Heritage Reissue Flying V – Korina, Natural (serial# C 003)
A great example of Gibson’s early‑’80s Heritage Reissue Flying V, built with Korina and finished in Natural. This one has had a single owner since new, purchased from us in 1983 and kept in the same hands until now.
The original owner lightly etched his initials into the back of the body. The area has since been professionally refinished. You cannot feel the etching at all, but under close inspection you can still see where it once was. Photos included for full transparency.
Plays and sounds exactly as a good early‑’80s Korina V should: lively, resonant, and fast under the hands. A very honest, well‑kept example of a desirable reissue.
