Fostex E16 1/2" 16 track recorder owned since 2002. Purchased from a church that was using it to record services. Used for approximately 30 hours of service since 2002. Has been well kept and stored in a dust free climate controlled environment.

Unit is fully functional. All channels play and record. Sound quality is fantastic. Dolby C NR is rather transparent and masks tape hiss well. Tape functions are smooth as silk (play, rev, ff). Rubber pinch roller still has plenty of grip. The only obvious wear and tear is on the metering panel. Several LEDs are burnt out or intermittent. This makes setting levels a pain for certain channels. You can set levels on an adjacent channel with meters intact, then re-route.

Comes with a road case, 2 line amplifiers and a sync unit designed to interface two machines for more tracks, plus cables. Includes take-up reel. The machine is located in northern Indiana, about 90 miles east of Chicago. Selling as local pickup, but I will consider freighting this to serious buyers. Total weight is close to 200lbs. Cost could be $700 and up depending on location.
