This rare LOMO UM51 has been expertly converted by AEG from its original FET circuit to a tube-based design, transforming it into something much more special than a standard UM51.
The Conversion: Features an installed tube circuit (similar to LOMO's earlier tube microphones) performed by AEG that provides the warmth and character that tube mics are prized for, with significantly improved headroom over the original 12V FET design.
The Capsule: Equipped with the coveted 8A11 large diaphragm capsule - the same capsule used in the legendary LOMO 19A19. Recently serviced by Peluso Microphone Lab with a replacement capsule (original included), ensuring optimal performance.
