Gibson ES-335 '60s Block Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar ( 119670297 )

The Gibson ES-335 60s Block limited-edition semi-hollow electric guitar brings together the iconic feel and tone of the original ES-335 with key aesthetic and performance updates from the 1960s. This special-edition model features small block inlays and a fast-playing SlimTaper neck profile, making it ideal for players who crave vintage flair with modern playability. Built in the USA with traditional Gibson craftsmanship, it delivers that sweet blend of warm semi-hollow resonance and solidbody-like sustain that made the ES-335 a legend.

Semi-Hollow Maple Body With Centerblock Sustain

This ES-335 features a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple construction with a solid maple centerblock, ensuring a rich, open acoustic tone with reduced feedback and impressive sustain. The body is paired with a lightly arched top and back, and traditional cream binding for a classic Gibson presentation. The semi-hollow design provides that signature midrange bite and hollow warmth, perfect for blues, rock and jazz alike.

SlimTaper Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard With Small Block Inlays

The neck on this model is carved to Gibson’s popular SlimTaper profile—fast, comfortable and ideal for expressive fretting across the board. The Indian rosewood fingerboard sports 22 medium-jumbo frets and distinctive small block inlays that were introduced in the 1960s as a stylish update to the earlier dot markers. Together, they create a perfect blend of visual character and ergonomic performance.

Vintage-Voiced Humbuckers With Modern Control

Dual calibrated T-Type humbuckers provide articulate, balanced tone with a vintage voice. Whether you’re playing clean jazz chords or overdriven blues solos, these pickups deliver that unmistakable Gibson sound. Individual volume and tone controls with matched potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors offer precise tonal sculpting. A three-way toggle switch rounds out the traditional control scheme.

Elegant Details and a Limited-Edition Build

Nickel hardware, vintage-style keystone tuners and a lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece add classic appeal and tuning stability. This limited-edition ES-335 is a must-have for players and collectors seeking that authentic '60s aesthetic with modern refinement. Whether you're on stage or in the studio, this guitar delivers iconic looks and versatile tone in a refined package.
