For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Gibson ES-335 case.
This was the original case for a 1966 ES-335 we sold recently to a touring musician who already had a more robust flight case. While a chipboard case like this one might not be ideal for the road, it'd be more than serviceable in a home or studio environment and for light travel.
Structurally and cosmetically, this is in fair shape for a vintage case. The original handle was replaced at some point (although it's included), but everything else is all-original. The latches and hinges have held up well, as has the Tolex save for a tear on the front and minor nicks here and there. While the interior shows wear, particularly where the endpin sits, it's stain-free and odorless. Not bad for a 60-year-old chipboard case.
