Martin D-28 SQ 1977:

Martin's most famous acoustic guitar, the D-28, is now in stock! A classic model beloved by world-renowned musicians, this particular example was manufactured in 1977.

While the D-28's detailed specifications vary by era, this particular one is from the late '70s, featuring a square truss rod. The basic construction remains largely the same as today's models, boasting the powerful bass and well-balanced chord resonance characteristic of Martin.

Crafted with a spruce top and rosewood back and sides, this D-28 features large dot position inlays and Grover tuning machines. Crafted using the finest woods, cutting-edge technology of the time, and skilled craftsmanship, this D-28's sound is exceptional.

The neck is slightly narrow at the nut, boasting a 42.9mm width and a soft V profile. The current neck has a slightly forward bow and slightly higher action, making it ideal for chord strumming.

Like all of our instruments, we have given it a deep clean and a pro set up in-house.

Appearance/Condition: Minor scratches, dull parts, and scratches and dents on the top. The bridge is ever so slightly loose. The finish on the bottom has cosmetic damage.
