The 1981 Boss CS-1 Compression Sustainer is the very first compressor pedal from Boss, and it’s become a cult classic thanks to its unique OTA-based circuitry and warm, musical response. Known for its smooth sustain and slightly colored tone, the CS-1 offers a character all its own, different from the later CS-2 and CS-3 models. This example is in excellent condition and functions exactly as it should, making it a fantastic choice for players and collectors chasing that early Boss magic.
