One of the most requested features in recent times has been the reintroduction of Roasted Maple necks, which is why the 2024 Metal models now feature Roasted Maple necks with jet-black Ebonol fretboards. The chambered Basswood body, EGS Rev7 hardware, and American-made Fishman pickups remain unchanged due to widespread acclaim and create a Boden Metal NX 7 with all the features that players have come to know and love with the addition of improved rigid stability.

Each Metal series guitar features a multiscale configuration perfectly adapted to its respective string count, string gauges, and tonal range. Multiscale instruments provide a more even string-to-string tension and tone compared to conventional scale arrangements while also enhancing playability and feel.
