From the 80's, this is a very rare Japanese Fender F-240A that lives in an extremely rare Levy's Canadian-made cowboy tapestry case. This high-end Fender has on its headstock mother-of-pearl inlay and "Fender", and also has "Fender" engraved tuners and mother-of-pearl inlays on the fretboard. It's made to exceed the quality and sound of the rival Japanese-made Red Label Yamahas. Its sound is world-class, and its beauty should be obvious from the photos.
This Fender has two blemishes that are noted in the photos, a fisheye on the front and a damaged edge on the bottom back. Due to the vintage nature of this guitar, our luthier did not feel comfortable repairing these blemishes which did not affect the sound.
The guitar comes with its vintage Levy's soft guitar case from the same era. Typically Levy's makes high-end guitar straps, but according to Levy this was a very limited production run of tapestry guitar cases. The case is in near-new condition and shows no signs of wear. It does come with both shoulder straps (only one pictured).
