Digital AM/FM Tuner: A built-in digital tuner allows for easy access to radio stations, with the added convenience of programmable presets. 

Pre-Out/Main-In Loop: This allows users to connect an external power amplifier for increased power or an equalizer for sound processing. 

Remote Control: The unit comes with a functional remote control for convenient operation. 

Audio Outputs: The HR-742 offers various audio outputs, including connections for speakers (raw cable and banana jacks) and a headphone jack.
