Kyle's Rad Amplification SOS (Sultan of Saturation) Oklahoma Brand Sultan of Saturation 2020- present

Converted Akai/Roberts reel to reel amp, the SOS features an ef86, 12ax7, el84, and 6x4 tubes. The el84 drives an 80hm speaker as well as the VU meter. The ef86 channel features an XLR combo jack allowing for microphone or guitar inputs. the XLR input feeds a mic input transformer and features a pad and a phase invert switch. Directly above the XLR combo jack is a direct output from the volume control of the ef86 stage. The 12ax7 preamp stage features low and high level inputs.

The front panel features two volume controls (one for the 12ax7 and one for the ef86 stage) and one tone control (switchable between the two channels). The two volume controls mix the two input stages into the remaining half of the 12ax7, or can be used as pre and post gain controls when the direct output of the ef86 stage is cascaded into the 12ax7 stage. The amp also features a line output with attenuation control.
