This is a silver King Cornet, by HN White. Truly vintage, the serial number is 5758, which means it was made around 1900-1903. (It has a lion's head, and the words "THE KING" engraved by the serial number.) This is a unique instrument in terrific condition! It has an attachment to the leadpipe that converted the instrument from playing in the key of Bb to C. I haven't seen this before. The pictures show off the instrument pretty well. I have included a chart by HN White (and King) that verifies the approximate date of manufacture. The cornet plays well, and will make an excellent addition to any collection! Plus - FREE SHIPPING!
