The crown jewel of jazz guitars, a vintage Gibson L5 is a joy forever. This one has received nothing but tender loving care and is in glorious condition. It sports a replacement pickguard in which is mounted the volume control for the floating DeArmond pickup. But the original pickguard is included, should you wish to remove the pickup and return the guitar to its acoustic state.
Although the serial number has been torn out of the label, the guitar may be dated to 1947 based on its specific characteristics. (Notably, it bears a script logo, not the block logo that replaced it soon after this guitar was built, so it cannot be later than ’47.) It comes with the original pink-lined hardshell case, protected by a Small Dog case cover.
