I checked with the Guild numbering system on their website. This is a 1972, GUILD F 50 Rosewood, Serial No. 69868. It is located inside the guitar and stamped into the headstock. It was my principle guitar. (Actually, that is not true I have 4 others I used as well. Anyway, this Guild has a booming sound. Having been used it is still in very, very, good shape for such an old instrument. I tried to capture all the undesirable cosmetic injuries it has suffered over the years. There is one photo where I think I burned it with a cigarette one night. I can't recall that night. There is one scratch on the back as you can see-- upper left hand corner. It has an L.R. Baggs pick-up. The fine inlay down the neck are a really sweeet addition to the guitar as a whole. Comes in its hard shell case and the key is still in the box.
