Up for sale is a rare and all-original Fender Stratocaster neck dated early 1968, featuring:
- Original nitrocellulose lacquer finish
- Original frets, 60% remaining, have dents (see pictures)
- Factory “A” width neck (1.5" / 38.1mm at the nut)
- Rosewood veneer fretboard – untouched
- Date stamp clearly visible on heel: 22JUN68A
- No breaks, no repairs, no mods
- Truss rod turns smoothly
- Nut appears to be original
The neck is straight and in very good vintage condition. The frets are playable with wear and still have life. This is a fantastic opportunity to complete or restore a 1968 Strat with a rare narrow A-width neck and original vintage tonewood. Especially if you have small hands.
Extremely hard to find and a custom order.
It retains its original finish and headstock decal.
The neck is straight and the trussrod works fine.
See photos for detail of condition. This is an incredibly rare CBS Strat neck that feels, plays and sounds beautiful.
